The principal health objectives for TOTAL E&P UK Limited are:
- Improve the health of our staff and contractor personnel by focusing on prevention of work-related illness
- Monitor potential health impacts on our neighbours
- Promote good health and fitness of staff and contractor personnel across our operations.
Which means:
- Identifying potential occupational health hazards within our sites and defining groups who may be exposed to any potential hazard
- Evaluation the impact our operations may have on the health of people living within the vicinity of our sites
- Ensuring adequate assessments and controls are implemented, monitored and measured to ensure effectiveness
- Recording the details of this process in a systematic way to ensure that records are kept in line with legislative requirements
Our focus also includes lifestyle issues, and their effects on health. We will continue to work to promote improved health and fitness of the workforce and provide necessary support to assist in any health-related issue.
