Distribution

Once finished products leave the refinery they are distributed around the UK by road, rail, sea and underground pipelines. TOTAL have oil storage terminals at strategic locations around England, Wales and the Channel Islands, from where products are transported to major customers and the company's network of service stations.

Not all customers are UK-based, however. Products are exported to international customers in other areas such as Western Europe or the USA.
